Osceola County celebrates Halloween

OSCEOLA COUNTY — Children and adults of all ages braved the rain to dress in costume and go door-to-door for candy and other treats on Thursday for Halloween events and trick-or-treating.

Princesses, super heroes, witches, horror movie villans, clowns and more took to the streets to enjoy the holiday. In Evart, hundreds huddled under umbrellas attended Monster Mash, which took place along Main Street. Business members passed out candy and music played in the street to keep the event festive.

In Reed City, families walked up and down streets trick-or-treating at lit and decorated houses, businesses along Upton Avenue and the Reed City Library. Fun was had by all even while avoiding the rain.
