MARION — A new store opened its doors in Marion last month.
The new business, called Hidden Treasures, is owned by Marion resident Tammy Baker.
Shoppers can browse through three display rooms featuring a wide variety of merchandise including: toys, school supplies, greeting cards, gift boxes, snacks and candy, kitchenware, cosmetics and toiletries and clothing for adults, children and infants.
One showroom is reserved for a collection of rustic wood furniture and decorative accessories handcrafted by Baker’s husband — ranging from carved accent pieces to tables, chairs and larger items.
Baker also offers a stylish selection of jewelry with choices to fit every taste from simple to classic, to glitz and glamour — from fashion jewelry to gold and sterling silver.
New inventory is added regularly; seasonal products and festive touches for holidays such as Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas will be available.
“It took a year to remodel and renovate the building and get everything ready for the store,” said Baker. “I wanted to bring a new place to shop to the community so people don’t have to travel so far. We offer a lot of name brands at prices folks can afford and a full line of quality merchandise offering as much as possible one stop shopping here in Marion.”
The store is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday, and from noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
Hidden Treasures is located at 112 Clark St. in Marion. For more information, call Tammy Baker at (253) 442-9669.
