TUSTIN — Tustin area residents are getting to know their new provider for medical care, Kali C. VanStee, PA-C.
A certified physician assistant, she is already at work at Spectrum Health Reed City Hospital Tustin Family Practice, at 111 E. Church Street.
A native of Newberry in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, VanStee earned both her undergraduate degree in biomedical science and her graduate physician assistant degree from Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant.
Before taking her family medicine position with Spectrum Health, VanStee worked in the emergency departments of Michigan hospitals in Sturgis, Cadillac, Grayling, Tawas and Alma, as well as the Columbia University Medical Center in New York. She has taught at both Central Michigan and University of Michigan-Flint.
“Emergency medicine was great preparation for my current role,” said VanStee. “I’m enjoying applying that knowledge with my family medicine patients.”
Tustin Family Practice welcomes new patients. Appointments are available by calling (855) 878-3987.
“Kali VanStee is a great addition to our medical provider staff,” said Dr. Thomas Wright, division chief, regions, Spectrum Health Medical Group. “She brings exceptional experience and knowledge to our patients in Tustin.”
