EVART — The Sunoco gas station on U.S. 10 in Evart is sporting a new, fresh look.
The station is now owned by Blarney Castle Oil and its convenience store has turned into an EZ Mart.
"The location in Evart was a good fit for us, but we're there because of the overall purchase of the Blodgett Oil Company, which had the Sunoco station," said Shawn Gray of Blarney Castle Oil.
The family-owned Blarney Castle Oil has more than 90 convenience store locations, including those in Sears, Reed City and Big Rapids. It's based in Bear Lake and the company began in 1933.
Gray said the convenience store will not expand in size, but it will offer products including Lucky Louie's pizza and Java Mountain coffee selections, and feature new products and pricing structures. The store also will keep customer service at a priority and products will be widely promoted throughout the year, Gray added.
