EVART — The summer music series in Evart begins at 6:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Evart Depot.

Eight dates will feature a number of bands and musical artists in many different genres for the entire family to enjoy. Each concert will be featured at one of many places that are a central part of the community and is expected to draw a couple hundred people at each performance.

To kick off the seasonal event is Rich Eddie’s Rockin’ Oldies, which is family-friendly.

The concerts are free of charge thanks to a number of corporate sponsors, individual sponsors and funding from the Osceola County Community Foundation. Free-will donations will be taken at each show to help the tradition continue.
