$46,416 to be donated to United Way
Karl Tomaszesski, the plant’s site manager, kept his promise to dye his hair pink and serve every employee an ice cream sundae if the company surpassed its goal of 65 percent participation and $45,000. The plant raised $46,416 with 66 percent participation. Each employee donated an average of $393. On Nov. 14, the business celebrated its achievement with a mid-day reception which included ice cream and giveaways of vacation time and bonuses. Tomaszesski has three more celebration times planned this month to ensure each team member receives an ice cream sundae.
