Michigan Road Riders raise more than $2,000 for cancer center
REED CITY — Michigan Road Riders held a benefit ride on July 19 and raised $2,280 that will benefit the Patient Transportation Fund for patients at the Susan P. Wheatlake Regional Cancer Center. The ride started and ended at Westerburg Park in Reed City.
Patient transportation assistance is provided only as funding is available through donations. The fund provides pre-paid gas cards, bus tickets and taxi rides through All City Cab of Big Rapids to the underprivileged.
