Methamphetamine lab discovered in Osceola Township

OSCEOLA TWP.  — A 38-year-old man was arrested Tuesday in Osceola Township in Osceola County for manufacturing methamphetamine.

On Tuesday, the Traverse Narcotics Team, Michigan State Police and the Osceola County Sheriff’s Department conducted a search warrant at 9994 80th Ave. in Osceola Township and discovered numerous chemicals components and apparatus used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine within various buildings and vehicles on the property.

During the execution of the warrant, the man was found at the residence and was arrested for a probation violation and for manufacturing methamphetamine.

TNT began an investigation after receiving information that methamphetamine was being manufactured at the residence.

The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are anticipated.
