More than 40 motorcycles roared into Evart on Saturday afternoon as part of the 12th annual Ride Against Domestic Violence. Ride participants began their morning in Mount Pleasant and made the trek to Evart to raise awareness and funds for women’s shelters throughout the state, as well as honor the memory of Mary Babb, a Mount Pleasant resident who was killed by her husband in 2007. The ride was organized by Mary’s Dream Living Without Fear and the Grey Dragons Motorcycle Association and ended at the Osceola County Fair Grounds. (Herald Review photo/Meghan Gunther-Haas)
