REED CITY — An Osceola County woman has been charged in a drug investigation that started in May.

Brittany Michelle Bean, 25, of Marion, was arraigned on Thursday on one count of operating/maintaining a laboratory involving methamphetamine.

Bean's arrest is the result of a Traverse Narcotics Team investigation, according to a press release.

On May 22, the Traverse Narcotics Team investigated a reported meth lab in Osceola County's Highland Township.

On Tuesday, Bean was arrested by the Traverse Narcotics Team on a felony warrant.

Her bond is set at $40,000. A preliminary examination is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 26, in Osceola County's 77th District Court.
