MARION — The Marion area is celebrating Clark Day, which celebrates the founding of the village, from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 10, at the Marion Area Historical Museum, located on M-66 across from the fairgrounds.

A lumberjack boiled dinner is planned for the event, and will include breads, dessert and artesian iced tea.

There will be 100-year-old quilts and newer ones on display. Crafters are welcome with no charge.

There is no fee for the dinner, but donations will be accepted.
