EVART — Planning is well under way.

Evart’s Christmas in a Smalltown is gearing up to be a lot of fun.

This year, Christmas in a Smalltown is planned for Saturday, Dec. 3, from 1-4 p.m. All events will be taking place at “Holiday Central” in the ‘village’ set up  at Evart’s historic depot, in Crossroads Community Church, and on the expanse between the two.

Everything is ready to go.

But before things really take off on Saturday, holiday activities will actually begin with the annual selection of Miss Evart and the 2011-12 Snow Prince and Princess. The pageant will be held Friday, Dec. 2, at 6 p.m. at Evart Middle School.

The winners will be announced during festivities held on stage at Christmas in a Smalltown on Saturday.

It’s not too late to get involved or sign up as a contestant.

For more information contact the good folks at Details Salon in Evart at 231 734-6585.

From Friday’s pageant through the fun at Holiday Central on Saturday, Christmas in a Smalltown is sure to be fun for everyone attending.

Don’t miss out.
