Library to hold July events

The Reed City Public Library will hold the following events in July:

  • 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Thursday, July 12, 19 and 26, children of all ages are welcome to read to a trained service dog from Spectrum Health – Reed City Campus, Dog Therapy Program.
  • Noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 14 - “How to Train Your Dragon” will be shown for families. Popcorn is provided and individuals can feel free to bring their own candy and drink.
  • 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 17, 24 and 31 Children in preschool, kindergarten and first grade can participate in the summer reading weekly program.
  • 6 p.m. Thursday, July 19, - Evening Book Club
  • 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 17, 24 and 31 Children in second through fifth grade can participate in the summer reading weekly program.
  • 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 26 - “One For the Money” will be shown for adults. Popcorn is provided and individuals can feel free to bring their own candy and drink.

Reed City Public Library is located at 410 Upton Ave. in Reed City. The library is open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday; 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday; 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday; 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursdays; 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays and closed for the summer on Saturdays.
