Library announces March programs

REED CITY — March is a busy month. It’s Reading Month, and we have some fun and family friendly events planned including our NEW Family Movie Matinee, Celebrity Story Hour, book sale and rummage sale, candy guessing contest and amnesty month!

We will show “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” for our first Family Movie Matinee noon on March 10. Be sure to arrive at 11:30 a.m. to get your picture taken with a Dr. Seuss character. We provide popcorn and water, feel free to bring your favorite movie beverage and candy!

Wanita Kampmueller from the Quilters Guide will join us for Celebrity Story Hour on at 11:15 a.m. March 14 to share some fun quilting stories and crafts.  We will have a small Book Sale and Rummage Sale from  March 21 to 24 in the library during open hours. Prices will be $1.00 per hardcover and 50 cents per paperback.  Look for special pricing on new premier items.

March is Amnesty Month; return all overdue items on your account and have up to $10 in fines removed.
