Kettunen Center hosting Irish Evening
TUSTIN – The Kettunen Center is hosting a traditional Irish Ceili Sun. March 18.
The event will be an informal social gathering with folk music, singing, dancing and storytelling. Musical entertainment will be provided by Mulligan Stew, a seven piece band of traditional instruments and vocals active in northern Michigan for over 20 years. Irish Dancers Kolleen Quinn and Amy Jo Prater will perform traditional jigs and waltzes, inviting event participants to join in the festive fun.
The night’s menu will include a traditional Irish corned been dinner, beer-braised Irish stew and colcannon, Irish soda bread, Irish cream pound cake and ice cream with homemade Irish liqueur. Appetizers will be served at 5:30 p.m. and dinner will be at 6 p.m.
Tickets in advance cost $25 for adults and $15 for youth under twelve. At the door tickets cost $30 for adults and $20 for youth.
