Kettunen Center holds annual Breakfast With Santa event

TUSTIN — The Kettunen Center’s 32nd Annual Breakfast with Santa is sure to bring extra holiday cheer this Christmas.

The event will take place from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14. The fun-filled morning offers area children a chance to meet Santa and to celebrate the holidays with family. The event serves families a pancake breakfast and children can visit with Santa, each child receives a gift from Santa. There is also a craft room, face painting and entertainment.

The cost is $3 per adult and $1 per child. Reservations will be taken starting at 8 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 9 and can be made by calling (231) 829-3421. Reservations are required.

The Kettunen Center has offered this community event for the past 32 years. It is organized and run by center volunteers, including many Kettunen staff who volunteer their time.

“It is our way to say thank-you to the local community for supporting us,” said Chris Gentry, Kettunen Center Director. “We are grateful we are able to continue such a great holiday tradition for the families in our area.”

Breakfast with Santa is made possible through the generous donations of many local companies, such as DJ McQuestion & Sons and Lake Osceola State Bank.

The Kettunen Center is located 5 miles east of Tustin on 20 Mile Road.
