BALDWIN — Armando Jennings is expected to provide a lot of strength inside in his senior season for Baldwin’s boys basketball team.

He’ll be a power post for the Panthers as he was a year ago.

“There will be rebounding and lots of shooting on the outside,” he said. “My shot is real good. I connect every time.”

Jennings also has confidence in his 3-point shooting.

“Just follow your shot,” he said. “It will come to you.”

Jennings is also hoping to get plenty of offensive rebounds and putbacks.

“You have to know how to play the guy in front of you, so if they’re boxing you out and you’re on the outside, you have to hit it,” he said.

Jennings stands at 6-foot-3. He feels he boxes out very well.

“We’re looking real good,” he said. “I’m thinking we’re Breslin-bound (for the state finals).”

The season opens at home on Dec. 5 against Baldwin.
