TUSTIN — In hopes of beginning an annual Christmas tradition in Tustin, Powell Grocery store manager Bill Price is inviting the community to participate in a holiday parade.

The parade will be held on Dec. 1 and travel through the streets of downtown Tustin. At the conclusion of the parade, band members, choirs and church members will gather for a sing-along and lighting of a Christmas tree.

Price already has commitment from Pine River High School National Honor’s Society and hopes many other organizations and businesses will join in for the celebration as well.

Individuals can walk or create a float for the parade and entries of any kind will be accepted.

“Anybody and everybody who would like to participate is welcome,” Price said. “We’ll have a flash mob in Tustin. The more the better.”
