Halloween in the Park a hit for kids, volunteers

REED CITY — Superheroes, Disney stars and other friendly characters took the day off to join the community at Westerburg Park for the annual Halloween in the Park on Oct. 11.

The pathway throughout the park became a safe trick-or-treating zone for everyone who came to the event.

"It’s a fun way for the family to get out during the daytime to enjoy their favorite Halloween activity," said Kathy Yost, one of the volunteers and organizers. “We’ve been doing this for at least 10 years now and the community just loves it. The kids have a lot of fun.”
