Fundraiser, Fall Fest highlight autumn days ahead in Evart
EVART — A busy week lies in store for folks living in or visiting the Evart area.
The Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a pig roast at the Evart Moose Family Center located just east of town on U.S. 10.
The meal is a fundraiser to raise money earmarked for the annual Independence Day celebrations in Evart.
The impressive fireworks display offered each year doesn’t get any less expensive as years go by.
Chamber organizers hope folks from throughout the area will continue to support the celebration of this country’s independence with donations to underwrite an impressive Fourth of July weekend of activity.
The pig roast will be held Wednesday, Sept. 14, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Those attending will get the “whole works with all the fixings.”
And then ...
The Third Annual Evart Shop Local Fall Festival Streetfair will take place this from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m Saturday, Sept. 17, in downtown Evart.
Organizers are looking forward to a great time for all those involved.
“The event will feature a business showcase, kids games and inflatables, juggler, live DJ and more!” said organizer Darcy Salinas.
“We will also be hosting a food drive for the Sears Food Pantry – for every non-perishable food item, you can get 10 game/inflatable tickets. Otherwise, tickets are 10 cents apiece.”
The Fall Festival is a great chance to get better acquainted with all Evart has available to residents and visitors alike.
