EVART — Fireworks, fun, music and fitness will revolve around Independence Day in Evart this year. The festivities and celebrations begin at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 3, with a Super Kicker Rodeo. Admission is $10 for adults and free for children 5 and younger. That evening, starting at 7 p.m., free live music will be provided by the 33rd Street Band as part of the Downtown Development Authority's free summer concert series known as Musicale. The group will perform a selection of classic rock hits from the '60s and '70s in front of the grandstand at the Osceola County 4-H FFA Fairgrounds.
"They're a great band and a great crowd pleaser," said Evart DDA Director Al Weinberg. "They're a rocking band with a horn section."
