Expo slated for Nov. 5 showcases businesses, organizations
REED CITY — More than 30 businesses and organizations will feature their products, services and resources for members of the community at this year's Reed City Community and Business Expo.
The 12th annual event, hosted by the Reed City Area Chamber of Commerce, will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 5, in the cafeteria of Reed City High School. There is no admission fee to attend.
"I'm looking forward to getting out of the office and being face-to-face with business owners all in one place," said Reed City Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Chastity Eads. "The expo is a great way for businesses and organizations to highlight their services and products."
Eads said the expo will showcase health organizations, nonprofits, service providers, banking, retail and manufacturing representatives from the local area. It's a one-stop shopping experience for residents looking to learn more about what's available.
Raffles, treats and door prizes also will be given away throughout the night.
Businesses that wish to register for the event can do so until Friday, Oct. 31. For Chamber member businesses, the cost is $100, while the cost for chamber member nonprofits is $50. For non-chamber members, the cost is $200 and $100 for non-chamber member nonprofits. Setup is slated to begin at 4 p.m. the day of the expo. Electricity is available.
