More than 50 businesses showcased at ninth annual expoREED CITY — Along with bags of free stuff and a tasty bite to eat, Reed City community members gained new insight into the businesses and services in their community at the ninth annual Reed City Business Expo on Nov. 1. More than 50 businesses passed out flyers, entered visitors into drawings, gave away free pens and candy and promoted what their business has to offer. “This is always a fun event,” said Reed City Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Suzie Williams. “We have many new faces this year.” NICA’s Boutique, Hospice of Michigan and the Osceola County Commission on Aging were among the new businesses and organizations showcasing their goods at the expo. “I’ve met a few people who didn’t know we are in existence,” said Scott Schryer, Commission on Aging Director.
The event also included massages from Spectrum Health Reed City Hospital, a health fair and flu clinic as well as entertainment by Dynamite the Clown.
