The travelers fortunate to get through a big storm on Wednesday, and had decent weather thereafter. The young people and the adults with them toured the battlefield at Gettysburg, various monuments in D.C., enjoyed the Cherry Blossoms on trees in peak season, and attended a performance of “Shear Madness” at the Kennedy Center.
