Evart library gets new bike rack

Custom made by FSU students

EVART — Bikers can now park their bikes at the Evart Public Library and Museum located at 5814 100th Ave. in Evart and walk to the downtown area.

A brand new, custom made bike rack, designed and built by students in the art welding program at Ferris State University, has been installed.

The bike rack is part of the ongoing Evart DDA Mainstreet project to make downtown Evart a more pedestrian friendly area.

“Our thanks to the Downtown Development Authority and the City of Evart for funding this project, and to Ferris for making it so affordable,” the department of parks and recreation stated on its Facebook page.
