Family, friends, and fans of Evart’s Wildcats turned out in force Friday afternoon to voice their support as the Cats’ prepared for Homecoming action that same evening, and to cheer on the annual Homecoming Parade as it made its way through city streets.

The parade was filled with all the details needed to fire up a hometown crowd - bands, floats, athletic teams, cheerleaders, and more.

The parade ended at the Osceola 4H FFA Fairgrounds where a fine tailgate party was warming up in the best traditions of Evart football. The tailgater was organized and offered by the Evart Athletic Boosters. And then - The Game.

The Cats came out strong handing Pine River a solid defeat to the tune of 41-22.

At halftime, Andrew French and Ashley Siebecker were crowned king and queen in front of a standing room only crowd.

It was a great weekend of Homecoming activity in Evart. A solid sign that the fall season has arrived.
