Evart High School principal on leave indefinitely

EVART – As family members and friends gathered to support Evart High School’s Class of 2012 at graduation on Sunday, one notable

absence was principal Alan Kullman.

Evart Public Schools superintendent Howard Hyde said Kullman requested a leave of absence on May 29. Hyde declined to comment on further details of the situation.

“He is on leave at this time. I do not have a return date for him,” Hyde said.

He and athletic director Randy Kruse will take over Kullman’s responsibilities for the final three days of the school year.

“We’re just trying to have a smooth end of the year,” Hyde added.
