EVART — After a year of reading, teachers, pencils, papers, friends and a lot of learning, Evart Public Schools finished another school year Friday afternoon.

While there were no special events planned, students at Evart Elementary School were able to say goodbye to friends, teacher and staff members.

Others also enjoyed a picnic lunch, with a root beer float for dessert.

Evart's Summer Feeding Program begins Monday, and will run every week throughout the summer, except for July 3 - July 7. The program provides a free lunch to children up to 18 years of age.
