EPS to consider hire of second-grade teacher

EVART – Pamela McClelland is the top candidate in Evart Elementary School’s search for a second-grade teacher.

During its meeting on Monday, the Board of Education will vote whether to approve McClelland’s hire. The teaching position was vacated when Jason O’Dell was hired as the Evart Middle School principal.

Also, Superintendent Howard Hyde will give a report on the success of the Evart High School cross country and football teams, the election results and Title I funds for the district.

The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. in the board room located in the middle school.
