Donations give Spectrum defibrillators
Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) improve heart attack victims’ chances of survival. In fact, defibrillation can increase survival to more than 90 percent. Defibrillators can save critical time and precious heart tissue as emergency medical help arrives.
The Spectrum Health Foundation received generous gifts from individuals, enabling them to purchase two AEDs for Spectrum Health Reed City Hospital. One device is located in the Rehab and Nursing Center, and the other is mounted in the hospital cafeteria.
AEDs are easy to use and effective. For more information about giving to the Foundation call (231) 832-7184.
