REED CITY — The Crossroads Theatre Guild will host its second open mic night at 7 p.m. on Jan. 25.

Anyone interested in playing an instrument or hearing musicians play is invited to the event held at the Crossroads Performing Arts Center, located at 249 W. Upton Ave. in Reed City.

“Come and enjoy an evening of entertainment,” said guild president Deb Lockwood. “You can bring any acoustic instrument from dulcimers and banjos to guitars. Everybody is welcome to come and play or just listen.”

The event will last for about two hours, depending on the number of performers. The event is free to the public, but donations will be accepted to cover the cost of operation.

The Crossroads Theatre Guild will host an open mic night at 7 p.m. on the last Friday of each month at the center, except during theatre productions.

For more information or to commit to play at the open mic night, call Lockwood at (231) 734-9859.
