Crossroads Theatre Guild announces new programs

REED CITY – After a successful first performance in its new home, the Crossroads Theatre Guild will continue entertaining the community. At 7 p.m. on Dec. 21, a Christmas Carol Singalong will be held at the Crossroads Performing Arts Center, located at 249 W. Upton Ave.

The event will include audience participation and a paper-bag drama as well as a performance by the Hersey United Methodist Bell Choir. All are welcome. To enter, individuals should bring a nonperishable food item to donate to the Reed City Ministerial Association Food Pantry.

The guild also will host an open mic and acoustic night at 7 p.m. on Dec. 28 at the theatre. Anyone with acustic talent is welcome to perform. Donations will be accepted at the door.

In April, the guild will host a murder mystery production titled “And then there were none.”
