Continuance set for Hullihen prelim, father expected to testify
REED CITY — Preliminary examinations for a Harrison man accused of double homicide are set to continue in June.
Due to his father’s incarceration, a hearing for 26-year-old Blake Hullihen was cut short on May 10. Another hearing is scheduled to take place at 1:30 p.m. on June 7 in Osceola County’s 77th District Court.
Blake’s father, William Daniel Hullihen, was supposed to testify on May 10 about his interactions with Blake the night that he allegedly shot and killed Gabrielle Woodworth and her boyfriend, Donald C. Feneis, at a Marion gas station.
However, William and his wife, Regina, were arrested the day before the exam on charges of kidnapping Blake’s daughter from her maternal grandmother’s home in Harrison. They were held in Clare County Jail on a $500,000 bond, and the courts did not have enough time to arrange to transfer William to Osceola County for the exam. He is expected to testify at the June 7 hearing.
