Conservation district taking plant orders

OSCEOLA COUNTY — The Osceola-Lake and Mecosta Conservation Districts are taking orders for Michigan native plants.

Available are a wide variety of wildflowers and grasses and specialty flats — butterfly, rain and shade. To see what is available go to the conservation district's website at osceolalakecd.org or mecostacd.org.

Residents also can call or stop by either conservation district office to pick up an order form or have one mailed.

Deadline for ordering is May 19th. Plant pick up will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, June 6 at the Stone Fish Hatchery Park in Paris. Extra plants also will be available for purchase for those who stop by.
