EVART — Despite cold, windy weather, area residents gathered in downtown Evart Saturday, Oct. 12, to take part in the annual Evart Main Street Fall Festival.
The festival, which took place from 9 a.m to 5 p.m., had a variety of fun, fall festivities for the community take part in during the day. These included a chili cook-off, scarecrow contest, chicken doo bingo, kids games, a petting zoo and more.
Also at the fall festival was the downtown farmers market, as well as live music from Damned By Dawn, a local rock group.
"It's nice to see everyone out and about," Angela Hunter, market manager for the farmers market said. "I enjoy everything about the festival."
