Santa spreads holiday cheer at Reed City’s Evergreen Festival

For many children, it was a whole lot of fun getting to visit with a regular visitor to the Reed City area, and they were able to echo a ho-ho-ho.

For some of the tiniest tykes, however, the response was more like a boo-hoo-hoo.

Briefly.

Once they were evacuated from Santa’s lap, they were all eyes and keeping a watchful eye on the man in red and his Mrs. Claus nearby.

Not only did Santa and Mrs. Claus greet children at The Depot in Reed City on Saturday, but were joined by a couple of cute little elves, and two beautiful reindeer.

The Claus and Elf families rode in the parade, and the reindeer decided to just sort of mosey through, apparently saving their energy for Christmas Eve. It was there at the Depot where they found little hands tucked into warm mittens bearing snacks for them as well.
