Chase Library hosts book sale
CHASE — It’s time to mark your calendar! Chase Township Public Library is borrowing the “Dutch Auction” idea from the Grand Rapids and Holland area.
The annual Book Sale will take place every Saturday in May, from 9 a.m. to noon. Besides having four days instead of one, each week will see lowered prices. Books can be purchased individually, or by the provided bag.
Starting with Saturday, May 7, the price per bag will be $5.
That price will lowered $1 each week, ending with $2 per bag on May 28.
There are hardcover and paperback books in all categories, free 1986 NFL sports cards, and a wide variety of flea market items.
In addition, the Chase Library Historical Society will host the annual Open House on Tuesday, May 17 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
The public is invited to see the range of local history information and items available.
For questions regarding either the sale or open house, call 832-9511.
