Thirty-eight Evart High School band students took part in this year’s annual Band Bust. They put on skits, tossed in satire, did dance and comedy routines, played piano, and came up with a whole variety of other acts for this, the 39th annual event.

Numbers were good for the event, according to Saturday night’s ticket-sellers. The crowd included classmates, parents and grandparents, young children, as well others from the community, looking for an evening of entertainment.

There were the “soft moments” which included dance routines, along with piano music, as well as a whole lineup of quick skits sometimes involving one or two people, other times a whole group.

A total of 36 acts were part of the program each evening.
