Breakfast benefits fire department

LINCOLN TWP. — Community members can help local firefighters purchase needed equipment by eating a warm, hearty meal at the Annual Ashton Fireman's Association's Santa Breakfast.

The breakfast will take place from 7 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6., at the Lincoln Township Hall, located at 20920 9 Mile Road in Reed City. The meal, consisting of pancakes, sausage gravy and biscuits, sausage links and eggs, is free with a donation at the door.

In addition to the meal, photos with Santa will begin at 8 a.m. and a 50/50 drawing will take place at 10 a.m. Games for children also will be available.

All proceeds help purchase uniforms and miscellaneous equipment not covered by the department including helmet fronts, dress uniforms and badges.
