Windy weather didn’t stop the outside fun planned at H&D and Bloomin’ Gardens Saturday afternoon when it was time for a Harvest-style celebration filled with fun.

Children had a chance to ride ponies, play games, have their face painted, and even jump in an inflatable that was securely anchored to fight off the wind.

Cider and donuts were served, and it appeared to be a traffic stopper as cars passed by on U.S.-10, turned around and came back to get in on the action.

As one grandchild rode a pony, at one point, another five stood nearby under Grandma’s loving, watchful eye waiting their turn for a ride and then more action a few feet to the west where the games were located.
