REED CITY — The sound of nature and the fresh air is an artist’s dream while working outdoors. Rambadt Park delivers those two elements as host to the Summer Art in the Park sessions. The playground and nearby trails are a bonus. There were already a couple of sessions in June and there are several more to come.

Donna Wheeler, organizer of the event, covers many mediums used to create art, including paper, paint, clay and more. At each session the main focus will be one of these mediums.

All supplies are provided for free and there is something to do for every age. The artist only needs to bring inspiration and imagination.

Sessions that are scheduled for July 6 and July 20are clay and weaving. Bring your whole family and some friends to the park from 9 to 11 a.m. and create a work of art.
