Reed City Farmers' Market opened this past weekend. Business was light, but organizers expect things to pick up as the summer progresses. In keeping with the executive orders surrounding the coronavirus pandemic, Reed City farmers' market had masks and hand sanitizer available to customers. Social distancing marking were also mark off on the ground to help visitors keep a safe distance fro one another.

Freash flowers and other plants were available at the Evart Farmers' Market on Saturday, June 13. The farmers' market will be open every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., through Oct. 12.
OSCEOLA COUNTY -- Evart and Reed City farmers' markets opened this past weekend. Efforts were made to maintain social distancing with vendors spaced out accordingly and marks on the ground to indicate three feet of distance. Masks, gloves and hand sanitizer were made available, as well.
Although the vendors were a little light on opening weekend, organizers said more can be expected as the summer progresses with additional fresh produce as it comes into season, farm fresh meat and eggs and other handmade items.
Evart Farmers Market is located next to the Depot in downtown Evart at 200 S. Main St. It is open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., every Saturday through Oct. 12.
Reed City Farmers Market is located in the Pompeii's Pizza parking lot at 113 S. Chestnut St. It is open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., every Saturday through October.
