Another suspect in custody for Reed City armed robbery

REED CITY — A third suspect is in custody for an armed robbery and assault that took place on Nov. 19, in a Reed City residence.

Cameron Lee Woodard, 20, of Reed City, was arrested on Nov. 28 for his involvement in the case.

On Nov. 21, a victim came forward to the Reed City Police Department reporting she was at a friend’s house in Reed City on the night of Nov. 19 when two suspects entered the house armed with handguns and stole personal property that was inside the home. The victim reported that her friend was assaulted by the suspects.

Following the investigation, officers from the Reed City Police Department arrested 33-year-old Clifford Daniel White and 20-year-old Kory Lee York for armed robbery, unlawful imprisonment, possession of a firearm during a crime and felon in possession of a firearm.

Officers say the men robbed the man and woman at gunpoint while allegedly looking for marijuana.

White and York are scheduled to appear at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 5, in Osceola County's 77th District Court. Woodard is scheduled to appear at 1:30 p.m. on Dec. 12.

Woodard, White and York remain lodged at Osceola County Jail, each on a $750,000 bond.

According to police additional charges are pending for others involved in the incident. The incident remains under investigation.
