EVART — Eggs were flying and splattering Saturday as 4-Hers took part in some unusual competitions at the end of the Osceola County 4-H and FFA Fair. More than 150 youth split up into teams led by parents and participated in the annual Ag Olympics with favorites such as the egg toss, hula-hoop competition and shovel race. The competition is optional for the youth and drew the largest number of participants it has seen in many years, said 4-H Program Instructor Jake Steig. Laughter and excitement was a welcome end to the competition between the 4-H participants throughout the week.
