REED CITY — The Arts and Crafts Spectacular was exactly that to many people who attended the event at Reed City High School during the community’s Evergreen Festival.

The halls of the high school were lined with all sorts of possibilities, ranging from scrap booking to baked goods, from jewelry to birdhouses, paintings to spark plug people, and everything in between.

Not only did individuals take part offering their talents with a bit of a price tag on some, and larger on others, but also organizations set up shop as well.

One of the most popular ones greeted visitors right at the door. There Osceola County 4-H youngsters offered fresh baked goods and a smile to those who visited their tables, and all but danced with excitement when they made a sale.

Clothing items and even doll clothes also were offerings, along with all sorts of Christmas ornaments and gift items.
