Trinity youth offer stage performances

REED CITY Warmer weather usually accompanies the spring months bringing beautiful color to gardens everywhere.

In Osceola County, however, tulips and daffodils are not the only things blossoming.  The students of Reed City’s Trinity Lutheran School brought some spring to the air with their annual Spring Operettas.

Wonderfully executed plays about two Biblical stories were full of music and some comic relief.

The featured stories were Daniel in the Lion’s Den and Malice in the Palace, the Story of Esther.

Family and friends gathered at Trinity last week to watch their children up on stage.  For some it was a bitter sweet night, since for the 8th graders, this would be their last performance.

“Little sisters aren’t supposed to grow up, right?” expressed Danielle Emington, proud of her sister Liza’s last performance.

With the school year winding down to an end, the Operetta’s made for another fun filled night to remember for these students and their families.
