REED CITY — Due to popular demand, members of the Crossroads Theatre Guild will host an encore performance of “Mystery at the Reed City Library."

The production centers around the theft of possessions left to the library by a wealthy widow, and features a small cast of a librarian and her assistant, played by Ellen Finkbeiner and Shelly Gerring, in different times between 1977 and the present. The script was written by local resident Maureen Watson and her family.

Admission to the show is by donation and the single performance will take place at 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 14, at the new Reed City Area District Library location, 829 S. Chestnut. Proceeds will benefit the library’s renovation project.
