Telemedicine open house to be held in Reed City

REED CITY — Spectrum Health recently launched MedNow, a telehealth program that offers the convenience and ease of visiting a doctor virtually.

To help community members better understand how the virtual program works, Spectrum Health is hosting a MedNow open house from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 4, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Reed City. Attendees will get a first-hand look at the equipment used for MedNow virtual medicine and learn the different ways MedNow provides quality care.

Mary Kay VanDriel, President of Spectrum Health Big Rapids and Reed City Hospitals, will share information about this exciting technology and explain how to access affordable medical care at your convenience. People who have used the MedNow service will share their experiences with the technology.

St. Paul Lutheran Church, located at 22275 4 Mile Road in Reed City. The event is free and open to the public. Appetizers will be provided.
