REED CITY — Reed City United Methodist Church will host a concert of the gospel vocal group “Northern Edge” during its worship service on Sunday, June 7.

“Northern Edge,” from the Hart area, has roots in southern gospel music, but its repertoire features everything from traditional hymn fare to progressive and country blends. The group enjoys a wide-ranging music ministry, including hosting the upcoming 10th Annual “Great Lakes Gospel Sing” on Father’s Day weekend in Walkerville. The group's radio program, “Good Gospel Radio,” is currently heard on four local lakeshore radio stations. Seven “Northern Edge” CDs have been produced in Nashville, the most recent being “Story in Song.”

As a multi-generation family group, “Northern Edge” incorporates the musical talents of Lynn Bromley, her son, Brett Bromley, and his children, Therese, Gianna and Josef.

“Northern Edge” and the congregation of Reed City United Methodist Church welcome the public to enjoy this concert during their Sunday morning worship service, which begins at 10 a.m., at 503 S. Chestnut St. in Reed City. A free-will offering will be collected following the service to support the music ministry of “Northern Edge.”
