Reed City Area Public Schools hires seven new teachers
REED CITY — Seven new teachers were welcomed into the Reed City Area Public School District for the 2015-16 year.
On July 20, the Reed City Area Public School Board of Education officially approved the teachers to begin in the fall.
Five of the new hires will be elementary staff, while two are assigned to the middle school in science and resource room positions.
“There was a very large field of fine applicants for the available positions," said superintendent Tim Webster. "Competition of this caliber puts the school in a very good position to hire top notch candidates.”
The superintendent is looking forward to the positive impact these teachers will have on RCAPS students, staff and community.
